During my time in college I had three 6 month long co-ops and at every one of them I used excel. I knew it was powerful and I knew there was more I could learn, so I set out to learn excel and VBA. I realized this was hard to do because there are not very many resources out there for this! I’ve come a long way from knowing next to nothing in Excel to fully automating complete reports and then emailing those reports out, all without me doing a thing.

Throughout the last 4 years I have done a lot of work in Excel for large corporations and it was astonishing to me how little people know about a software program they use every day. I saw people spending hours doing things manually that could be done in seconds using simple formulas. I realized that I could spend my time helping other people become more efficient using Excel.
